Our Programs

CROSSFIT

Our standard CrossFit classes are 60 minutes in length. The first 15-20 minutes include a coach led dynamic warm up and some mobility. Then instruction on a specific skill or strength development for 15-20 minutes. We finish with a 8-20 minute "Workout of the Day" that incorporates the skill or strength of focus.

CROSSFIT KIDS — ages 9-16

Alameda CrossFit Kids is not simply a scaled down version of Alameda CrossFit. It is designed for the specific athletic development of our youth. The goal of this class is to both create a positive relationship with fitness and teach the kids lifelong skills to improving health and preventing injury.

CROSSFIT STRIKING

Metabolic conditioning style class that incorporates bag combinations including punching and kicking to the workout. Designed to take both the skills and the benefits from a fighter's striking training program and integrate them into CrossFit workouts. Recommended to bring your own wraps and gloves, otherwise community gloves will be provided.

FREE CROSSFIT FUNDAMENTALS

This class is open to anyone interested in CrossFit and is also a requirement for all starting members. We will spend time breaking down fundamental CrossFit movements and skills. We will then perform a short WOD (workout of the day) that involves the movement or skill we’ve developed.

BEGINNING OLYMPIC LIFTING

ACF recognizes the unmatched benefit of learning the olympic lifts during ones athletic development. Learning to create power through the use of your legs and hips will transfer to nearly all other CrossFit movements. This class is based on an 8 week cycle. Open to all ACF members.

ADVANCED  CROSSFIT

The expectation is that anyone who attends this class has 6 months+ experience of CrossFit, is comfortable in a competitive setting, all while receiving little technical instruction. This class generally consists of team workouts and movements you won’t regularly see in classes throughout the week.

FIT FOR LIFE

A brand new program designed to service the senior community and those looking for a more modified approach to CrossFit. The target age is 65+ but we use that number very loosely. This program focuses on building mobility/flexibility, balance, coordination, stamina, cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, strength, power, agility, speed, and accuracy. Our goal is to enhance your ability to perform daily tasks and beyond! Stop the aches and pains and get FIT FOR LIFE!
